-Fermi Onsite Packages
These are packages added to Scientific Linux Fermi to setup your computer for onsite use.
- flpr - Fermilab standalone lpr client
- krb5-fermi-getcert - Convert a kerberos ticket to X.509 certificate
- ocsinventory-fermi - OCS Inventory NG - Customized for Fermilab
- pidgin-sipe - Pidgin protocol plugin to connect to MS Office Communicator
- upsupdbootstrap-fnal - UPS/UPD bootstrap fnal config file
- zz_apache_no_browsable_directory - Change the default httpd.conf to disable autoindex
- zz_auto_update_kernel - Have autoupdate update the kernel and it's dependancies
- zz_dhcp_resolv - Fix resolv.conf when using dhcp
- zz_disable_avahi - This will turn off and disable the avahi daemons
- zz_local_dns_cache - This package configures a host do local dns caching with bind
- zz_logwatch_df - This configures logwatch to use df -h -l instead of just df -h.
- zz_ntp_configure - This will configure the ntpd config files for Fermilab.
- zz_pine_user_domain - makes it so that when a users sends mail, it has @fnal.gov appended
- zz_postfix_fermi_gateway - makes it so that outbound e-mail goes through the fnal.gov gateway
- zz_sendmail_fermi_gateway - makes it so that outbound e-mail goes through the fnal.gov gateway
- zz_tcp_wrappers_change - Adds Fermi specific entries in /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny
- zz_tex_tweaks - This will make some tweaks to the TeX configs.
- zz_use_clogger - Log your system logs to the Fermi central logger
